Fully Licensed LPC Counselor Needed
Great opportunity for a motivated counselor with a heart to serve the community

Vann Counseling Associates, part of Lori Vann LLC, will be opening a 3rd office in January and is need of a fully licensed LPC counselor who is on at least 2 of the following insurance panels: Cigna, BCBS, Value Options, CHiPs, and/or Medicaid. Counselor will be able to use the office to see up to 15 clients a week & 5 hours of paperwork. Preference will be given to counselors who are on Value Options or Medicaid/CHiPs.

While the counselor will be an independent provider from Vann Counseling Associates and will be responsible for attaining their own referrals, Ms. Vann will be referring clients to the counselor. Ms. Vann is in need of a counselor who is on the insurance panels that she is not a provider for so that she can refer clients in the community to that counselor. Ms. Vann will introduce the counselor to the various referral sources that are in the office's area. The counselor will be responsible for filing their own insurance claims.

The office will have a credit card machine, an all-in-one printer, furniture, office supplies, and an alarm system. The office is not being subleased to the counselor. The counselor will pay a monthly fee to cover marketing and office expenses of $335 in addition to 10% of whatever income is generated. For example, if the counselor brings in $500 worth of client income, then 10% would be $50 to be paid at the end of the week. The counselor is responsible for filing their own insurance claims.

The office is open 7 days a week and whatever hours the counselor wishes to work. There will be a LPC Intern who will be working out of the office, but will be limited to 15 clients a week. There will be no more than 3 counselors in the office; 1 fully licensed, "full time" counselor, 1 part time fully licensed counselor (limited to 8 clients a week), and 1 either F/T or P/T counseling intern. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS POSTING IS ONLY FOR THE FULL TIME, FULLY LICENSED COUNSELOR spot. I am NOT accepting applications for the other positions at this time, as I already have some interested parties. An example of total number of possible appointment times Monday through Saturday would be at least 68. If you want to work Sunday, that is a possibility and would add at least another 6 possible appointment times.

Primarily group therapy with some individual. Additional duties of case management, utilization review and coordination of care with other providers. WorkReturns program is a psychiatric IOP with focus on helping outpatients resolve psychological issues affecting workplace performance, such as depression, stress, burnout, interpersonal difficulties.
